Doug Wiley

Partner and CEO

Doug Wiley is the founding partner and CEO of Quannah Partners. As CEO of Quannah, Mr. Wiley oversees the investment strategy, fundraising, sourcing and financing, and asset management for the Company. Over his career beginning in 1995, Doug has sourced and directly managed over 45 transactions with a total capitalization of approximately $2.2 billion.

 

Prior to founding Quannah Partners, Doug was Chief Operating Officer for Denver-based real estate private equity firm Amstar Group, LLC, which had AUM of $2.2 billion across 55 investments. In that role, he was responsible for the company's execution, including its investment strategy, oversight of acquisitions, dispositions and asset management across office, industrial, retail, hospitality and multifamily investments. From 2004 to 2011, Mr. Wiley directed Amstar’s investment activities in the Central Region of the U.S. with a focus on Texas.

 

Before joining Amstar in 2004, Mr. Wiley was a Principal on the US Realty team of The Carlyle Group, a global private equity firm in Washington, D.C., with over $2.0 billion of AUM at the time. Prior to Carlyle, Mr. Wiley was a Vice President with ProLogis, serving as co-founder of Prologis’ European operations based in Amsterdam and overseeing the company’s acquisition of industrial properties totaling more than $475 million across the Netherlands, France, and Poland. Prior thereto, Doug held roles of increasing responsibility in Prologis’ Denver, Colorado, global headquarters, leading activities in land acquisitions and build-to-suit developments.

 

Mr. Wiley graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.A. in Economics. Doug has lived in Denver since 2004 with his wife and four children.
